The Ultmate African Safari.
This is among small Parks in Tanzania, Lake Manyara is a scenic beauty Park which stowed along with the shadow of great Rift Valley’s escarpments. The park is known for its tree-climbing Lions which can give a remarkable sight when watching them relaxing on acacias trees!, Flamingo Flocks in a Lake and The soda-ash lake at the centre of the Park.

Despite the scenic beauty and breath-taking scenery of Lake Manyara park, the park has few games compared to the offer from neighbourhood parks of Tarangire, The Ngorongoro, and The Serengeti.

Manyara Safari is just like an introduction to  East Africa Safari, tourists pass by when they are travelling to Serengeti or Ngorongoro Parks from Arusha. That being so, Lake Manyara safari is not worth more than a day trip.

Entering the park you’ll be welcomed by  Thick and shady forest of Giant Fig and Mahogany trees which are irrigated by perennial water springs from Great Rift valley rocks. This is the beautiful Homes of Shy Troops of Blue Monkeys and Paradise to African Buffalo and Giraffes.

Getting more onto the plains along the  Lake Manyara,the foot of the quaint Rift Valley’s escarpment, you’ll start getting the sight of more game; Big herds of elephant, giraffe, and zebra, warthogs at their families and gazelles.

At the shallow of Lake Manyara, usually tinged pink with the flamingo flock on Lake in their thousands, if you are lucky enough you may find them closer to the lakeshore.

A closer look might see Kirk’s dik-dik or an agile klipspringer on the rocks. The thick acacia forest and escarpment housing leopards and Highly populated with Lion. The forest is also a beautiful Home for Huge troops of baboons,.

The diversity of habitats is home to a wide variety of colourful birds, Pelicans, storks, and cranes located along lakeshore. Ground hornbills, secretary birds ostriches, Verreaux’s eagle, African harrier-hawks, orioles, babblers, trogons these are some of the Birds which can be seen easily at  the park

The main activity at  Lake Manyara National park is day time game driving, recently the park Authorities have allowed night Safaris and camping inside the park.

Staying in the Rift Valley escarpments near the park provides opportunities for activities such as village trips, walking, hiking and mountain biking.
