DAY1: ARRIVAL
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport meet and transfer to Arusha for overnight at Gran melia Arusha (BB)

DAY 2:  ARUSHA TO TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK

Depart from Arusha town at 0830 with picnic lunches for Tarangire National Park tour. The park is located 120km from Arusha. It is famed for its congregation of big herds of Elephants and a buffaloes, this landscape of open plains is dotted with thousands of baobabs trees. During game drive you may see zebras, wildebeest, elephant, Maasai giraffe, Baboons, Fringe-eared Oryx and other predators such as Lions, cheetah, leopard even tree climbing python if you are lucky, alongside variety of birds such as the endemic ashy starling, Rufus-tailed weaver and black-collared lovebird. Picnic lunch will be provided by your driver Guide at the designed picnic area inside the park. Then late afternoon drive to Acacia farm lodge for dinner and overnight.

DAY 3; LAKE EYASI CULTURAL TOUR

Early in morning after breakfast at the camp, Depart for some Cultural visits in the area. Among other places, you will visit the Datoga pastoralists and members of the Hadzabe tribe. The Hadzabe are one of two remaining hunter-gatherer tribes in Tanzania. There are approximately 1500 families left in this tribe. Lunch will be served at the camp afterwards drive to Karatu, evening you will have an option of relaxing or doing a walk around the lodge  dinner and overnight at acacia farm lodge

DAY 4; NGORONGORO CRATER TOUR

After breakfast you will descend into the crater for a wonderful game drive (with a picnic lunches) The Ngorongoro Crater often described as one of the wonders of the world. It is the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera and a natural sanctuary for some of Africa’s densest animal populations. It is one of the few places where the rare black rhino can be observed in their natural setting. As very few animals migrate in and out of the crater with its 2000 ft. high walls, you can expect to see lions, elephants, zebras, hippos, flamingos, jackals, rhinos, antelopes, many birds and other species. With a bit of luck the ‘Big Five’ can be spotted during one game drive only. Dinner and overnight at Acacia farm lodge

DAY 5: KARATU TO SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast you start on your way to Serengeti National Park via the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. On the way you will stop at the Olduvai Gorge (optional) where anthropologists Dr Louis and Mary Leakey made a significant discovery, contributing to the theory that human life originated in Africa. After stopping for your picnic lunch on a kopje (rock outcropping) in Serengeti you will continue further into the park and go on a sunset game drive. Overnight at Serengeti acacia luxury camp

DAY 6-7; FULL DAY SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

Enjoy a fully day Serengeti tour, picnic lunch inside the park, In the Serengeti; with a bit of luck there is a possibility to see the migration of wildebeest and zebras accompanied by predators. Nevertheless you may spot a pride of lion on hunt and many other species of birds including the Kori bustard famed as the heaviest flying bird in the also troops of baboons can be spotted on move.  Dinner and overnight at  Serengeti acacia luxury camp

DAY 8; SERENGETI

BOOKING CONDITIONS AND PAYMENT

A booking is considered confirmed upon receipt of a 40% deposit to our bank account. Only the amount received by our bank account shall be regarded as paid (with all money transfer costs paid by the customer). The remaining balance is due 45 days before your departure date. If your reservation is made within 45 days of departure, the entire amount must be paid at the time of confirmation.

Although if a client is unable to pay the entire amount at the due date, we will do our best to provide an alternative option

BOOKING ALTERATIONS

For alterations of existing bookings done by the client (e.g. air tickets, departure dates, number of participants, accommodation etc.) a handling fee of 80 USD per booking applies. The handling fee will be charged on top of the service provider fees.

CHILDREN POLICY

Children between the age of 3 and 12 years will pay 50-75% of the adult rate if occupying a room with two adults.

Pay 75% of the adult rate if occupying a room with another child.

Pay 100% of the adult rates if occupying a room with one adult

CANCELLETION

Any cancellation of a reservation must be in writing, either by e-mail or fax and shall only be effective upon its receipt and acknowledgement by Vianney’s Untamed Expeditions. Thus, reservations that are cancelled, reduced in length of stay or reduced in the number of occupancies are subject to cancellation and no-show fees. The following scale of cancellation charges will be applicable, depending on the day before the departure of the tour when the cancellation notice is received.

25% if cancelled up to 30 days prior to arrival.

50% if cancelled between 30 and 15 days prior to arrival

100% if cancelled within 14 days or in the case of a ‘No Show.’

If the cancellation case is discussed earlier, we will do our best to render our support. We understand that things can happen and will try to resolve any problems that are brought to our consideration.

RISK

The client accepts that all tours are of an adventurous nature and involve an element of personal risk. Neither the Company nor any of its agents can be held responsible in any way for any injury, loss of life or damage to property, howsoever caused. The client therefore insures will hold the Company, its agent, assigns and servants harmless from any such claim. The client accepts full responsibility for all risks involved.

AUTHORITY ON TOUR

The decisions of the Company´s guide/driver on tour shall at all times be ultimate and binding. The client must at all times conform to the laws, customs and foreign exchange regulations of all countries visited.

MARKETING

The Company reserves the right to use any videos and photographs taken during tours for marketing or any other advertising purposed. Hence the client gives consent to use such photographs and authorizes the Company to retain copyright for these photographs and such material.

ITINERARY CHANGES

We reserve the right to re-arrange the itinerary or amend the arrangements of any tour in case of unanticipated hostile circumstances beyond our control; although efforts will be made to adhere to the original program.

FORCE MAJEUR

Unanticipated circumstances including but not limited to mechanical breakdowns, weather, war, riots and other unpredictable circumstances above the control of the Company may cause Interruptions or alterations to the tour. The Company shall not be held responsible in any way for any of these possible occurrences or any consequences, which may arise as a result of these.

SCAMS

Please note that if you receive an email from someone asking you to send them moneys via Money Gram or Western Union, this is an email hacking scam. Vianney’s Untamed Expeditions does not accept payments from customers via Western Union or Money Gram.
